Happy June! As we approach the meaningful celebration of Juneteenth, The Racial Equity and Student Equity team want to take this opportunity to invite each and every one of you to participate in our upcoming Juneteenth celebration and assembly.  Juneteenth holds great historical and cultural significance, and we believe it is essential to come together as a staff to honor this important milestone in American history.

On June 16th, We will be organizing a series of activities and events to celebrate Juneteenth. Our high-five event, assembly and celebration on the black top. 

We encourage all staff members to actively participate and engage in the Juneteenth celebration. We will have fun activities and cultural performances. This is an excellent opportunity to expand our knowledge, celebrate diversity, and promote cultural understanding within our school community.  

We also welcome staff members and students who would like to contribute their talents, skills, or personal experiences related to Juneteenth. If you have any ideas, suggestions, we would love to hear from you. This is a collective effort, and your contributions are vital to making this event a success.  

We believe that by coming together to celebrate Juneteenth, we demonstrate our commitment to inclusivity, equality, and social justice. It is a chance for us to reaffirm our shared values and ensure that our school community continues to be a place where everyone feels respected, valued, and celebrated.
