The entire community is invited to the Powell S. Barnett Celebration on April 27!

Join us for a day filled with memory and music at Leschi Elementary School. Beginning at 12pm we will rededicate the portrait of Powell S. Barnett that hangs in the entryway of Leschi Elementary school, and will remember Mr. Barnett's remarkable life and his contributions in the Central District and Seattle.

Speakers: Larry Gossett (former King County Council member), Karen Jones, and Rev. Dr. Phyllis Ratcliff-Beaumonte

Beginning at 1pm, Butch Harrison and Good Company will play their annual community jazz concert, sponsored by the Garfield Golden Grads!
